Nope, no changes here either but I have noticed some interim updates.. I think Google is doing more regular updating and addition of sites of PR6 and above now, so pages are getting added to the index but without a proper PR.

For example, I have a week-old page that got entered with a PR4, which is my site's base PR (all pages are PR4 or better unless they've been hit by the PR0 buglet). WHen the pages get properly PRed it should be a 5 I think.

Interestingly, I've noticed that the new index will not only be visible to most, but be almost settled, about ONE WEEK AFTER the first person posts that the "dance is on" and gets accused of premature eGooglication.

It's happened about 6 months in a row now, with different people reporting first. I don't know how the First to Report sees the startup when no-one else yet can, but it's too much similarity to be a fluke. This time Zervo saw it too so you're not completely alone.

I beg to differ. I think the reason for the early miscues is that everyone is so anxious for the dance to start and any changes in the results that matter to the member reporting them is an optomistic emotional response (myself included). We work so damn hard and are just waiting to see the fruits of our labor. I don't think we have seen the dance yet. All my PR's and back links have not changed. Perhaps the dance is delayed because of physical reasons, like a bunyon!

Well I've got 3 different returns on my dance machine for my site - don't know about you guys - the thing has been in a steady flux all day for me.

Those reporting a dance, try a few different terms. Some terms like "computer deals" will probably be in flux all month. Others, like "Halloween costumes" I have not seen move at all yet. Any fluctuation I have seen in some of the highly competitive areas have been minor - one or two sites moving up or down by one position. This is not what happens at the dance. At the dance there are excuse me's, treading on feet, and a mad rush to get to the bar. Even the odd brawl is known.

Patience, if you wait, it will come.

I have confirmed one new page in www2 and 3 through that tool. It's not showing under any rank in the main index so I would say that the dance is indeed On at this point!

Now to check for everything else under the sun that I did between the last index and this one.

Update: Strangely, only that one new page seems to have gotten in. Other pages/rankings are the same as before. I didn't think the one page was in any hot category that would get updated faster...

Oh well, enough of this for now then.

Wouldn't call it the "dance", but google is at least displaying most recent changes to my homepage title on a few sites.

No activity seen with new pages being indexed yet though.
