I would like to submit my site (http://www.mp3topshop.com) using inktomi.com.

Before I submit it. Do I have to make any changes at my site?
    (meta-tags or things like that)

If I'm not mistaken, I think Inktomi ranks according to title, meta tags and content on the page. It appears all of your titles are the same for each page. I suggest you make your title and meta tags descriptive (different) for each page.

Also use alt image tags to describe images. Search engines love that stuff.

    I used to put...

    Link to me Inktomi

...in my keywords just for fun.

What are you targetting specifically? Have you checked MSN to see what your highest possible position would be for those terms? If it is MP3 Players then you have 483 featured, sponsored and web directory sites BEFORE any Inktomi listings appear. You just won´t be found and will have wasted $25 per page

People that search "mp3 player" are also searching a software mp3 players.
I was thinking of getting traffic from other keywords... mp3 cd player, mp3 player shop & others.

And it will be $39. This is the first site I'm submiting. [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img]

I've been waiting for 3 months to get into google, and nothing happened [img]/infopop/emoticons/icon_frown.gif[/img]

Ar there any other better advertising possibility?

I would recommend using word tracker to see if there is any keywords you could optimize for so that you could be on at least the first 2 pages of MSN. If not, then I would say you are wasting your money.
