Hi there!

My biggest money maker held the #1 spot for certain keywords for about 4 months.

Last Google update the site dropped to #14.
Now Google 2 and 3 show it at #29.

Yesterday I noticed that when I type the site name into my browser, it shows no PR or backward links.

My other sites still have PR and backward links.

Does this indicate that my one site has been banned? I don't know why it would be, unless it's because I link to it from two of my other sites.

If that one is banned, are the others in danger also?

Are there other reasons why this one site isn't showing PR? It will really hurt my income if this site drops anymore.

Is there anything I can do?

I appreciate any help and insite.

Thank you,

Did you have any server down time?
If so, I'd do nothing and see if the site comes back next index.

I think this is the time that google starts doing its freaky dance where sites bounce around. What I would be concerned about is it went from #1 to #14 to #29...that it has slipped the ranks gradually...

I once had my Bangkok football site go from number one to "not there at all", took two months to get listed again...all due to the site being down at the wrong moment! We lost all links to Mondera the same way one time ...THAT was a shocker!!

You might be banned. What you described is how it happened for me (drop in rank, followed by zero pr and no links, then no pr).

Same happened to us. Drop in rankings over a couple of months, then no PR and then gone completely. Revamping the site didn't work. We finally had to scrap it and start over with a new domain. We were linked to our other sites and they weren't affected.

Well, if you are ranking #29 - you are obviously not banned. Wait until the update and see what happens. Nothing else you can do, so it isn't worth the worry right now.

Everyday hundreds of thousands of pages are produced and indexed by Google, so you can't expect steady rankings.

A MarkyMark says, if it's listed in somewhere, it's not banned. They rarely ban the sites, unless its cloaking or something.

If they made a change in their algo, and if that change is giving less importance to the factors that made #1 before, that may be the cause.
