Anyone heard of a company named NetWords Inc?
Theycalled me the other day and asked if I wanted to buy a 3 word phrase or keyword for $600 a year in there new system developed my Microsoft. I guess it's kind of like aol keywords, where you type in a word in your browser and you are taken to the site of whomever owns the word or phrase. Is that what happens with this company? Are they credible? Would it be worth the cash? Any info on this would be helpful. Thanks in advance for your replies.

Commonnames and Realnames ( no bankrupt) and others are using the greed for traffic con-game hoping to make a cool million and retire to the islands. Here come some more BHO driveby applications hijacking your browser and redirecting traffic from the intended source. ZERO footprint affiliates relying solely on feeding traffic to advertisers stolen from end users browsers. Don't try to uninstall this one without assistance.

I would't trust them. I received a similar offer, but from another such "company". It turned out they ideed used some scumware to infiltrate the user's browser....

No, No, No, No! The smart money these days is in bridges.. I've got a line on one that's just come up for sale.. I'll send you my paypal details and I'll grab you a share

In all seriousness though, for $600 you can probaly afford to hire one of the friendly neighbourhood SEOs around here to bring you in a level of targeted traffic that's probaly worth paying for..

Hmmm... Atomica tells me SEO stands for;

Search Engine Optimization
Seasoned Equity Offering
Senior Executive Officer
Shutdown Electrical Operator (US Navy submarine watchstation)
Society of Education Officers (UK)
Software Executive Official
Special Equipment Operator
Sponsors for Educational Opportunity
Survivability Enhancement Options
Systems Engineering Office/Officer
Systems Evaluation Office

So, what does SEO stand for? Search Engine something. Search Engine... what? Search Engine Orator? Search Engine Obliterator? Search Engine Optimizer??? Yeah, that last one, right?

Thanks,
