So far all of my sites and pages recently visited by google are date stamped December 30, 2002. Anyone have any other date stamp?

I’ve got a Dec 31 stamp on mine.

So far in this dance, I’ve got half the backlinks I had last month, my PR has droped, but I’ve moved up in the results. I hope she’s still recalculating PR for all the pages linking to me and they’ll show up again.

I've also got a Dec 31st date stamp. Not much has changed really, except for one large leap back onto the first page for one site.

Thing is though a newly optimized site of mine is still showing the old pages (pre-Dec) in the cache. Anyone got any new sites in the index after Dec 1st ?

    I LOVE THIS DANCE!!!

I did a SEO job on the side in November and have been dying for the dance to see the results. This company did not have a single decent ranking due to their site design.

Just got a BUNCH of #1 rankings and several top 10. Cool thing is it was for the President of my company - a side business he is involved in! So gives me some extra brownie points at my job-job too!

Maybe I'll start doing SEO on the side again. It was FUN putting on my dancin shoes for a different company!

    Rsgopi,

Thanks for the info. There must be another cause for this site not being in the new update. Ho hum.

How can one determine the PR of a page on google? The slide bar on the google tool bar has no units of measure. Never gave this much thought before because of good positioning for search terms.

    Anyone ????

    Wahoo google love me again

She Gave one of my info sites a hammering last months that cost me around $600 to $800 in sales but now she's put me in a even better position then I used to be...ahhh...my love affair with google continues.

Now if she'd just pick up my new baby I'll be over the moon

Maybe there is too much that I don't know. But one thing I have noticed so far is that google refresh everyone's index page in its 'special' way every single day. It doesn't indicate that google has 'danced'. At least in my case, the number of my pages stay the same (there are fluctuation on a daily basis due to its daily update on our index page). I don't think google has ever kicked off its upcoming crawling.

Let me know if I am wrong.

    Good luck

Well, guess I am the one that have been left out by google :-(

    Anyone else's left out?

Last time after I read many emails here saying things like 'tons of pages are in', there was nothing for me. But it crawled my site few days later.

Hope this is the same case.

    Snakebaby,

Don't give up the faith - its not finished yet. For me, anyway stuff is still a moving and a shaking! It will take 3 or 4 days before everything settle down and shakes out.

Thanks, Abigail, for the kind encouragement.

But I'm afraid that I was indeed left out this time.

I recall that for some reason I submitted my index page again around the past month to ensure that google will not accidentally drop me. I'm assuming that maybe my site then got treated as a new site and didn't get scheduled for this update.

I'm feeling very sad and upset at this moment. My page rank stays the same across all pages. Some of then even have lower ranking possibably due to the recent post holiday slowness.

Anyway, no more re-submit for me in the future. It may just be a stupid move after all.

The Google dance is not finished yet. Wait for a few days (next week) and you'll know how was the dance for you.

Very good looking update. Two of my sites that were under the PR penalty for nearly a year appear to be bouncing back (one with a page rank of 5).

Lots of new pages in! Certain people will see new competition this index, heh heh heh...

As for the crawl, it usually comes to me a few days later, too.

Snakebaby, did you remember to check at www2 and www3? The changes aren't reliably at the main index yet...it'll be a few days before it settles and everything shows up at the main.
