Google is dancing now. Many of my pages are now date stamped Jan 8, 2003. I also see lots of others sites date stamped Jan 8. Checked cached pages and was delighted to find that I had just updated them Jan 6th. Giddy up go!

NOT THE DANCE, the way to check is backwards links. They need to be different from www,and www2,www3 What you're seeing is the fresh bot. You will see these types of updates throughout the month. The date stamp is at the end of the url in the results:
    url - 24k - Date Stamp

Call it dancing, fresh bot. or whatever. When google places my newly optimized pages into cache and now getting SERP's of 1 & 2 for my optimization, I am happy!!!

The Freshbot Giveth, The Freshbot Taketh Away!

Next week you'll drop off the face of the earth until the next dance, then you'll be on page four. Happened a while back to one of my sites.

You have to remember usually new pages will get in, but only for a few days and then disappear until the big update(dance) which is still another 3 weeks away.

I was lucky to have all of my new pages stay in until the update. Seeing the same thing so far this month.

I looked up mine and can't find the date stamp. What I see is this:
    url - 24k - cached - similar pages.

Any other way to find a date stamp?
