    Buying a new domain and wanted to make sure abut one thing.

    Which one is better as far as search engine rankings considered:


    How important is it?

    Personally, I would buy them both even though I think the relation to search engine rankings is minimal at best. I have gained several No. 1 Google rankings on domain names that have nothing to do with the content or the keywords of a website.

    IMO, the biggest factor in selecting domain name is how easily is it typed or remembered. Will it be easy for someone to make a mistake when they enter it. Will more people be typing wiggets instead of widgets, that type of thing.

    I tend to build strong content sites that build high repeat rates - so that type of thing is important to me. If you are not concerned with repeat visitors that may not be as big a deal to you.
