As far as I can tell it hasn't updated yet. www2 is still showing different results. Freshbot did pick up my new domain that I just put up this weekend. Amazing! Hope it stays in more than a day.

Talking about when the last dance was Last Dance Began: 05 May 2003. based on google-dance.com seeing great results from that dance.

I think you will find that the dance may not have begun this month. In fact it may never dance again quite as we have come to expect. Strange things did begin around the 5th, but it was not hte traditional dance.

Where you are probably getting new traffic is from Freshbot listings going in and out of www.google.com

Yeah it started dancing all right but it hasn't stopped and updated the old index. Turn off the music and get on with it.

Anyone know why it's taking so long for the new results to index?

Rumour has it that they are testing new technology which may do away with the monthly dance as we know it.

As for doing away with the monthly dance, that'll be fine IF it doesn't mean that all results now just get jammed up in www2, www3, and their other servers that the average searcher never sees...

I wish they'd just get on with it. Why do the words AltaVista spring so readily to mind ?

It's not a googlebot.. it's a gigglebot. It loves to torture us. Waiting, waiting for the dance. Am I moving up or going down? I see my new listings and they look good! But now it won't stop dancing. Waiting, waiting for it to stop. It watches us suffer and laughs. Perhaps it's a terrorist.
