What is the difference between the "backward links" and the [More Results from www.domain.com]links at Google?

They sure have been bouncing up and down on me lately.

This must be a stupid question!
But then I always heard a stupid question is the one you don't ask.

Backward links are links from other web pages pointing toward the domain in question. More results are just that more results from that particular website. In short the first is links coming in and the second is links within.

Thank you for the explanation Heyder.
I sure did loose a lot of incoming links this time around.

And my links within went up by two hundred something.
I didn't think I added that many links within the site.

    Thanks again.
