I'm looking for comments/feedback on Happy Log and Web Log Expert.

My trial on Happy Log ran out before I could really give it a shot and when I re-downloaded it, I was prompted to enter a registration code.

Does Happy Log give visitors per page and average page views per visitors? Axolot said yes, but I was not able to verify it.

Also, is there any benefit to buying Web Log over Happy Log? Web Log is $75 vs. $33 for Happy Log.

    Thanks.

I've never used Web Log Expert - I do have Happy Log, though. Yeah, you can get visitors per page and average page views stats with it. THe main problem with Happy Log is that its spider file in woefully incomplete, so you will need to update it to get accurate info on search engine visitors and referrals. I also found it stopped working every now and then for no reason.

    Mind you, for $33 it's a bargain.

I use Weblog Expert and I'm happy with it because it does everything I need it to do. Have you tried the lite edition yet?

I'm using the lite edition of Weblog Expert and like it, but I need something much more comprehensive.

    MarkyMark,

How are you viewing visitors per page on HappyLog? I see hits per page, but not veiwer per page.

    Thanks.

Sweat, you're right - it doesn't have that information. Really should check my facts before posting. Sorry.

    MarkyMark,

Do you have or know of a complete list of search engines and spiders that I can use to update the list in HappyLog?

    TIA.
