I'm almost sure I'm not alone on this one. I'm getting tons of visitors and not making more money. WTF is happening? Is google buying visitors from some guaranteed hits place or what?

I don't think it is the traffic
...I think it is the scumbag parasites that are draining our sales

I would agree and please fill me in on the details if I'm wrong. I'm showing the click-thrus to cj merchants. Isn't that enough? I thought they stole it before the click and also why just in the last few days. Who is the new kid/scumbag on the block?

Redirect happens after the click from your site Heyder, so your clickthru would show. PM me if you would like a test.

It's Your Money. You earned it. What are you going to do to make sure you get to keep it?

    Hello Everyone,
    I agree!
Gordon, you hit the nail on the head.
I’m so fed up with the affiliate marketing crap.

The stores where I have a one on one relationship always produce commissions.
My 3rd party stores (or should I say 4th party stores) will produce one sale then the well runs dry.
    However the traffic remains constant.

My traffic has increased 10 times from last years counts.
The sales commissions from 3rd party affiliations have not increased more than 2-3%
My local merchants are very happy with their traffic I provide and the sales they make from our referral efforts.
There’s nothing there for a parasite to mess with.

    Something has to change.
    I guess I will!
2004 can’t get here soon enough.

Sorry about the traffic everyone I can’t agree with you more.
I have work to do for my paying merchants the ones I visit and shake hands with.
They are my main revenue stream and they are fun to work with.

I’m not investing anymore effort or money in third party affiliations.
We can’t do everything for them, and I feel like a fool for trying.
They should take care of us better than they do.

A few thoughts [which is about all my brain can handle at once] ...

    * Traffic here has been good, actually better than good.

    * Our sales have, for the most part, been poor, except for Affiliate Fuel links which have overshadowed a lot of shortcomings from other networks and merchants.

    * Since we have a good number of CPM contracts and a variety of sponsorships and upsells, the affiliate money remains gravy. The win-win is that even if sales are feeble, they are unexpected additions to the bottom line and all traffic helps produce revenue, thanks to the aforementioned contracts. Hence, crappy is in the eyes of the beholder.

    [/end ]

That's all the brain capacity at this moment.
