Hm, I had figured it for last week. That's when a bunch of new sites got in...

I figured the lack of posts here was just because everybody had bought into that hype about "no more Google dance." Glad to see at least one person besides me didn't buy it!

That website does not know how to check for backlinks is my guess. Google shows 799,000 backlinks for yahoo.com on www,www2 and www3.

Maybe it's a regional thing. Google must have decided I didn't deserve a dance and left me stag for the ball.

I saw yahoo backlinks at 1,100,000 on www, and 799,000 on www2 and 3 either yesterday or Saturday, but they went back to 799,000 across the board after a bit. And now today, it’s showing the same at times. Anyone else get the feeling that the folks at Google don’t know anything more about what’s happening than we do?

I saw a dramtic drop in traffic. Google just seemed to have totally dropped all 117 pages it indexed from site about one month ago.

Any idea what happened or how I could find out what happened?

    Regards,

    Dylan

Yes, as of Friday our placement in the results, our traffic, and our sales are WAY down.

Some of our sites have had top 5 results for various keywords for months and months... now all of our important keywords are buried on page 3, 4, 5 or worse.

We were making $150-$200 a day commissions. These past few days we've been averaging $75 a day.

We're crossing our fingers and hoping this is only a temporary setback in keyword results.

...love to hear imput from you all!

    Thanks!

Honestly, I don't know. My traffic has been steady.

    Hi Paula

My site traffic dropped on Friday also with the same financial results. We'll both have to see what happens but in the meantime the plan does not change, keep building, keep getting links.

    Best regards,

    Dylan

Hmm.. not much change. I had a couple of sites drop in and our of the index a couple of weeks ago and now it's back to what it was.

Still, at the moment it looks like I pulled in $500 yesterday from a new site in the index, maybe this is why

I’m now seeing Yahoo backlinks at 1,100,000 across all servers. Seems like the dance is going in reverse. Starting on the main server, and then to 2 and 3. Or, more likely, they have a new secret location where they are processing updates.
