It does have PR - not new at all.

No PR shows with just the domain name, but add index.htm to the end of the domain name and you have a PR5.

PR5 and it's number 2 for one of the hottest fought terms. I think this is fairly good proof that google is placing little value on pr these days.

I think Google has favourites. I have a site that has been around for 6 months and Google does not rank any of the apges highly despite it being optimized the exact same way my other sites are.

There is one site (domain very similar to mine) that comes up top for nearly every search term I type in and that site has a list of keywords below the fold as long as your arm. I sent in a spam report about this site but nothing has been done and my site continues to get 100% of its traffic from MSN. Fine for now but MSN has a history of dropping sites for no reason.

No. Check out some of the backlinks. Note the incidence of the word "viagra" in, or close to, the link text. They are making it on anchor text, pure and simple. They are smart enough NOT to have done too much pure guestbook spamming, there are some "quality" links in there

Hasn't for months. High PR is still worth it, but for a broad keyword strategy, not targetted keywords. They rest on anchor text now

i've always said i thought pagerank is over-rated, by so many people.
i get people asking me " we want high pagerank can you help us"
i simply say, wouldn't you be happy with ranking under your search terms that you targeted? rather than having a pagerank 8 site with no rankings under search terms wanted.
i'm noticing it's alot harder to get pagerank, but sites still rank anyway, with good content and optimization in place with 0 pagerank.

Some decent content looking stuff on there too, from a Search Engine perspective.

    Hmmm.

Just curious, but how have they disabled my mouse scroll wheel?

I've never seen that done before.
