Going live. If you have Adwords you better go check and make sure you're not showing for unrelated terms. Maybe cuz i'm tired but i am confused. I want my ads to stay the way i put them.

Right now Broad Match is now the default. You can click Change your keyword matching options and change the default Broad Match to either Phrase "keyword" or exact [keyword] But for some ads i run, i want some keywords to be phrase and some exact. But from the wording it's either or.

Ah, nevermind. I don't have any keywords listed as broad match, all mine are "" or []

If you have keywords listed like "keyword" or [keyword] you're ok.

If you have them listed like: keyword You need to check they're not showing for a bunch of unrelated stuff.

I was thinking they were switching all the keywords to broad match. They're just applying the broad match to keywords without the "" and []

If you're running adwords and your keywords are listed like:

    "keyword" you're ok
    [keyword] you're ok
keyword you better go run and check and see what you're showing up for and might need to switch to either exact or phrase or start adding a bunch of negative keywords. I bet some people will wake up tomorrow and see they've spent more than they've planned for plurals, synonyms and related terms.
