    What about the Yahoo directory?
I don't renew my entries any more, seems like a waste of dollars now.

Don't forget the top-placed links are Overture ones (owned by Yahoo, as is Inkomi).

Yeah.. they killed the directory when they changed the way search terms are presented. A know a lot of affiliates suffered horribly because of that, especially after stumping up the $299 per site.

I would *think* that the dir will have more weight for Ink's algo when the change is 100% done.

    But, I could be wrong

Yes, if you fork out more money.... Yahoo is very greedy and doesn't care about small businesses.

    Interesting.

I got a hit on an obscure kw on an internal page from Yahoo search. When I looked it up on Yahoo, I was at #20. Still, it is on the first page.

I am not on the first page for Google or Ink for that kw.

    Interesting.

    Thanks,
    Frank
