This might of already been covered but I haven't seen it yet. From an email received;

quote:
IMPORTANT NOTICE ABOUT INKTOMI SEARCH SUBMIT: Yahoo! Search has transitioned to its own search technology and is preparing to launch a new inclusion program. As a bonus for Search Submit customers, Yahoo! Search is providing a free trial of Yahoo! traffic that will end on April 15, 2004. When the new inclusion program launches, Search Submit customers will have the option of joining the new program for ongoing participation in Yahoo! Search results. Please note that participation in the Inktomi Search Submit program does NOT include Yahoo! traffic on an ongoing basis.

    The way I take it is we will be paying to be listed in Yahoo just like we do now for MSN and others. It sounds like it will be a seperate payment to be listed in Yahoo after April 15th. In other words, if we pay now for inktomi listings, we will also have to pay for Yahoo listings. Any feedback as to how you all see it????

    The first thing I see is a mental image of the famous Welcome Back Kotter episode where Barbarino was wiggling his fingers and saying "gimme drugs! gimme drugs!"

    They'll give us a few sample shots for now, and the withdrawal trauma will have us jonesing for a quick fix.

    John Travolta just turned 50.

    Sure doesn't seem that long ago that he was a Sweathog shakin' his booty to the disco sounds of the Bee Gees and Yvonne Elliman...

    I guess some of us are getting old!

    Hek it's been more than ten years now since Peter Frampton either lost it or cut it all off

quote:
What's a sweathog?

    Even back then we wondered where the hek that word came from.

    The way I see it is IF it ONLY cost $40.00/$25.00 to get into Yahoo that will be a bargain
