Has anyone had any experience with them? Good or bad? I've read in previous posts (a while back now) that they are big reversers (is that what you call them?) of sales...

I am looking for alternatives because I know 1800petmeds, petrx has all got parasites...and petswarehouse is great but doesn't offer the full range of petmeds.

Petscriptions Loves to reverse with the reason "other". I complained once and they gave me some sort of explanation, I forget what it was, but I didn't buy it.

A page a day keeps fresh tires on the Vette...

Well - that would explain my drop in sales, I'll be - the merchant couldn't offer any explanation at all - I've gone to 1% of my sales over the last 2 months. The dirty d*g!!

    Mr. Oscar,

There are many choices. Why can't you do a search on pet stores and see if they have an affiliate program? Or, are there popular pet stores out there, I don't know of any off hand becaue I hate animals, but why not call them and ask them if they have such a program? It's worth a shot.

Kidding about hating animals. ... Just cats.

The reason you don't see much in this channel is because of the laws relating to the sale of these products. If you do a search you will see that the vets are in an uproar about the sale of these script meds for pets.

Example if you treat your dog with a heartworm drug and it has not been tested before administering this drug and it has the worms it will likly die!

The fines for the improper sale can wipe a company out. Pet meds sells them but can't by law pay any commission. They have been in a lot of trouble in several states and they are on probation after paying big fines.

They survive the fines and hassels due their size and if they dropped the meds they would have no biz.

We studied the business of selling meds on our site but the amount of red tape, risks and overall profit Vs legal fees and fines made us reject that line of script meds.

    We do sell Non-script meds.

Not "by law", by Florida law. Other merchants who are located elsewhere can pay commissions on the prescription meds.

For a customer to be able order a prescription medication they will need a vet's prescription. These stores contact the vet directly after a prescription is written and get the prescription directly from the vet, to be convenient for the customer.

The main reason vets are against this is the money they make on these drugs is vanishing because of these stores.

You're right on the money SamBay...but I do get PetDealers reservations about script drugs...so long as the vet okays it, it should be okay...
