About a month ago I removed a ton of pages from my site (bad merchants) and updated everything else.
Google is tripping on this like it's got two left feet. First they did okay and removed the old content, slowly (like a snail) recrawled the new content and listed everything accordingly. Everything looked to be going just fine until about a week ago when they started including the old pages again and placed them as "supplemental result". Now they don't seem to have any of the new stuff and all of the old stuff. Not only old stuff but 2 year old stuff. Why they would have that old of results at all is a complete mystery to me. They could at least put stuff from this year on there.

I've got pages that have been removed (linkwise) for over a year that they still include in results. Their clean up and removal of dead links sucks BIG TIME IMO.

So that explains why I am now getting those 404's hits from the toy directory that I deleted last November.
