I am wondering if a re-directed site can get listed and good page rank in google?

For example: if I bought www.dell.net and had it redirected to www.dell.com and built up a lot of inbound links to my www.dell.net site, would it be listed in google if people did a search for "dell" ?

    Thank you

Google will attrobute all the inbound links to dell.com, NOT to dell.net (unless the redirect is done by javascript and if Google continues to ignore MOST javascripts)

Well if you could, Dell would certainly not be happy about it!

thanks everyone (this is just an example, i would not do it with Dell but some small start up company that I think will be huge)

So in summary, it does not matter how many inbound links I get to my forwarded site because Google will give the redirected site the higher page rank and list them before my site?

Would anyone be willing to help me with a JAVA script redirect? I could pay you.

    Thanks
