I am sure everyone has seen their new dial ads by now for their search engine by now. Every ad network is carrying them and they are paying well.

Looks like MSN must feel their engine is ready for the primetime again and are grearing up. So far not seeing much of an increase in traffic from msn, but I am loving the cpm.

Yes, it should be good to have another contender to break up the Google/Yahoo market dominance - even if it does mean even more bucks in Bill's pockets.

Let's hope the search results are better than MSN has produced in the past...

Let's not! I like the results just the way they are, thank you, hehehe.

I don't have much confidence in MSN search results - at least the first versions that are likely to come out. I also suspect they will try to monetize it to the maximum possibility - leading to only so-so results for organic searches.

Still, its a good thing to have another player in the world of the search engines. Plus, I'll give MSN credit, their bot is certainly active - its blowing away Gbot as far as activity goes on my site the past two months.

Wow, I thought this techpreview would improve over the past 3-4 months. It's still producing some pretty bad results for searches like 'books' and 'dvds'. I don't see many merchants in there. If they release this as-is I'll be one happy camper, but my worry is the searchers won't be... At least not if they find my sites, which won't be hard

Hopefully they hold off till after Xmas Right now they somehow only have 2 of my pages indexed while the current MSN/Ink has all of them. The guy from MSN said they will make the switch no later that June or July 2005.
