    Hi.
I'm up burning the midnight oil (2:30 am), doing research on creating a successful adwords campaign.

Might as well jump on the old bandwagon, doncha know?

Anyway, one of my favorite bookmarks is a blog by a guy named Barry Stein. He has a lot of info on how to begin with google adwords, and how it worked out for him.

Barry's a great guy, and answered every dumb question I threw at him.Barry's Blog

I also ran across a forum that has advanced tips on adwords. It blew me away. With so much free info out there, why pay for some dumb book?

    Check out CopyWriter's Board

Hope this can help someone like it helped me.

    Peace.
    Rick K.

Many merchants won't allow you send directly through an affiliate link, and there's a good chance Google will ban or curtail this practice in the very near future.

I always direct the AdWords visitor to my own site, and then have a prominent set of links for them to click on. Works for me.

By sending them to your own site you can also get around those merchants that have pop-ups on their pages.. I learned that one real quick..

I've been sending clicks straight to a merchant that has a pop-up on their front page. I didn't know they had the pop in the beginning.

Apparently that isn't supposed to be allowed.

There has been a strong rumor, backed by marketers who have talked to their Google reps, that after the holidays the rules for adwords are going to change.

Any advance scuttlebutt about WHAT the changes are going to be? It would be good to have some advance warning- so we can modify our tactics now instead of when the herd does...

    Thanks,

Personally, I would think that Google would not want to screw with a winning process too much. MSN is going to be moving up strong behind them shortly, IMO, 'no missteps' should be the order of the day for them.
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.
