    I mentioned this in another thread, but no one managed to clear this up, thought I would post the question again, and see what your opinions are.

    If the court rules that Gator does not have the right to modify the appearance of my site, would that also imply that ad blocking software - software that removes hyperlinks and such from my site - would also be unlawful?

    The argument being, they are modifying the appearance and content of my site, and preventing me from earning a living.

    Maybe, Maybe not. The issue now is that gator is profiting from their actions and how they go about installing their software.

    While the software makers would profit on sales, they do not actually profit on your use of the item past the sale.

    So I am going to guess and say no.
