    Okay, quick question (hopefully):

Does ClickBank use cookies? The reason I ask is this. I have a link that points here:

Go there, please (I have obviously removed my ClickBank ID). If you click "Order Now" at the bottom, it goes to another URL .. but the ?hop=MYCLICKBANKID does -not- carry over? How on earth do they track the sales?!

Please say there is a cookie written at some point ...

It is suppose to track but this merchant hasn't updated this product in a while. It also accepts different payments from paypal so I would stay away unless they are paying you for paypal referrals also.

Yes, Clickbank uses cookies, but this merchant
is using some kind of script which lets him
accept orders via Clickbank and Paypal both.
This is not illegal but I wouldn't put a lot
of money into promoting a merchant which uses
other payment options. If you go through your
    (replace xxxxx with your nickname)
Click on the order link on this page and on
the next page choose credit card and enter for the email address and proceed
to the order form, you will notice that your
nickname does show on the bottom of the
second page of the order form.

Thanks! You've shed some light on how the process works. I kind of doubt PayPal sales are tracked though :-/ Maybe I should e-mail the merchant and ask.
