I was wondering if Clickbank has changed their cookie coding? A few months ago my sales dropped off dramatically and I think it had something to do with Clickbank changing to a "first click gets the sale" (i.e. not last click gets sale as it is with most affiliate rograms).

However, I tried today to click on a product using my affiliate link, and then clicked the same link using someone elses, and it appears the second click over-wrote my cookie.

Is it now last click gets the sale? Was it ever first click gets sale or am I dreaming?

    Hi PerfectG,

At one time (sometime late last year (2003), Clickbank did make the switch to the "first click gets the sale".

But it later reverted back to "last click gets the sale".

    Best regards,
    Adrian
