Really doesn't say much when it is the site owner plugging his own site.

    Hey "under your rocks:"

I was just trying to help, that's all. Besides, I don't know why my status is still classified as a newbie since I've been a member for over 2 years. Anyways, take care "under your rocks."

    Carlos,

Your status is still classified as a newbie because you only have 11 post in over 2 years, read this: The following are based on number of postings:

    I don't know how that's happening!

I have dedicated space to CB and haven't seen anything remotely resembling $100 coming my way from any of the links.

It's all in HOW you market the products, as well as they TYPE of products you market.

I've not made less than $2k a month from CB in over 2 years. The "secret" is to go after it's "niche" (i.e. non "how to make money") products. Check out the fitness, garden, and kids categories for ideas.

In over 4 years with them, I've not had a single payment problem. NOT ONE. I can't say that about any other network.

Further, they've paid ON TIME EVERY TIME.

Having said that, I'm kind of glad veteran ABWers don't like CB - More for Me

    I would have to agree,
I make over $200 a day (profit) on Clickbank every single day.

Write a good PPC ad, and advertise the right products and you can too.

If you are out there promoting free car sites, online surveys sites etc then don't be surprised when you get no sales.

I have respect for the people who do SEO all day and get their niche in the top SERPS on Google and such, but for me that takes too much time and some talent I don't posess, I get my adwords going and go to my day job, come home that night and watch the cash roll in.

I've sold a few per week in the "finances" category and the "dating" category.

I just wish I had more time to make more pages for them.

Just with any advertising, you will more than likely have more sales depending on how related your advertising is to the content of your site, and how much traffic your site has.

I have managed to sell a few things via ClickBank, but then in the lulls between sales had the funds which were escrowed slowly be eatten away $1 by $1.

(Hint: If you meet the min payout amount, but have funds escrowed, you *NEED* to bump up the min payout amount to well over what amount you have, until *AFTER* the escrow/chargeback funds are released, grrrrrr...)

    mrnewman,

Great to hear about your success.

Just wondering, how much are you spending on your adword ads?

It depends on the product. No one category has been better or worse although they have all slowed over the past 6 months or so.

Still I like their fast payments twice a month. Don't like the refunds, though.

I am here grinding my teeth. I have been a member of clickbank for two yrs and yet to make $1000. I have finally come to realise that I need my own website to promote my CB products , but these webmasters charge so much money to build a website I wonder if I could break even.

    Vincyheat,

I've been in your shoes, so don't feel bad.

Last summer in one of the threads here a guy said that he had success with spyware stuff, so I went to Clickbank and signed up for one and in another thread saw a spyware program that was stand-alone and signed up for that too.

I made two simple pages, and bought ppc adds in 7search and findwhat.

I made steady sales almost immediately and was filled with joy and thankfulness.

I can also say that Clickbank sent me my check on time and no question about it each and every month.

Like that other poster said, it's all about niche. See, spyware is a niche.

Find your niche and make a few *simple* pages (splash pages) to advertise it and buy your ppc. Aim to be between fourth and tenth on the page. Do not, do not, do not try to be in the top 3. Too expensive.

Also use traffic exchanges *if* the niche you choose is of interest to lots of people.

But keep at it, and if something doesn't work after a few days of ppc, change your splash page. Keep changing until something works. You'll get it -- I promise.

    Wesley
