I'm using the script to power the site search at one of my domains...with the side benefit of being able to return results from other sites that I admin AND ClickBank too!

How do you do that? This looks like a fairly conventional search script. No doubt I'm missing something obvious, but I can't see how it lets you make an index of affiliate links to ClickBank.

mmm...to be honest I don't know EXACTLY how it works. The search script allows you to set up custom rules and filters to dictate HOW the target site gets spidered. All I know is that it somehow works. It misses some of the links I'm sure; however I managed to index something on the order of 1,386 hoplinks.

Does this create the links correctly? They seem to have a "." between username and product name instead of a "/"

It seems to carry the credit through to the order page correctly.

I'm dubious about using it with those ads at the top though, mainly because they could change to anything at any time.

The documentation walks you through the procedure necessary to set up a simple set of rules and filters just for ClickBank...once that is done the script spiders the ClickBank site and somehow captures the URLs (with the proper nickname) and corresponding descriptions. No typing every product link! The script doesn't catch every possible hop link but I ended up with about 1300 valid ClickBank hoplinks in the search database. If any are missing that you specifically want added you can create an 'Open Realm' as a catch-all for miscellaneous URLs...

Humm. Well our search box was designed with the affiliate in mind. If you only have a few items you want to "tag" to your affiliate links, just use the built in admin. But if you have many, you can just work with the database in a a text editor. it goes very quickly if you have similiar terms go to a page with the affiliate link in the meta refresh tag.

Let me know what you think. See the examples on the page.

Here's another clickbank searchtool. You can also open your clickbank store with all your ids in the directory.

Even if you don't want a store yourself, it's kinda interesting to see what' around in different categories. I'm going to change my travel page from travelocity that never paid me a penny to some clickbank books on getting free travel and see if anything sells.

hmmm...cbmall tool looks neat. Pity about the popups though. I wouldn't want to pay for their product and then have to endure their popups for which no payment. Regardless of the payment I wouldn't want their popups period.

Heres the cb search script I'm using which I like real well, you can see it at:

    http://mall.dotstartup.com/?idowww

or read about all the features:

    http://dotstartup.com/dealer/?idowww

amazon plugin, how to customize all the banners which are all linked with your affiliate ids btw, including the hot links, featured links and hot products buttons too. All for $24.97 and put your search box on any website you wish and no cgi, php, mysql or any of that to fool with.

I've already tested it and it tracks with the new clickbank chaos. BTW, I'm sticking with the old hop links and will do my own statistical tracking. I'm curious how many other affiliates feel the same way?

At one time ClickBank had issued a statement while defining "unqualified links" and said that no redirects using javascript would be considered "qualified". Does anyone know if this is still the case? This would kill a lot of affiliate link cloaking software if its still the case. I asked ClickBank and was told that no one was familiar enough with link cloaking software to know which ones would be "qualified" or "unqualified"!!!

Since they are the ones doing the unqualifying, you'd think that they would know!! I guess they've been pretty busy answering email, I'm sure they've been getting a lot of it with their surprise attack on merchants and affiliates alike, with no warning either. At least I didn't get any warning. My blood is starting to boil again, it time to hush.

With all the changes at ClickBank it probably don't work anymore. I know of several products that don't work like advertised anymore but ClickBank is still allowing them to be sold. I'm sure due more to ignorance than intentional misrepresentation.

Between crippling their vendors and jacking their affiliates around I'm not too excited about any new attempts at saving them from their self appointed mission of meltdown.

My reversal rate is over 60% for this pay period. It never came even close to that before. if it don't smooth out soon I'll be rebuilding some websites. I'm tired and got a major case of the disgust! I hate chaos!!

The reason his link does not work is probably
because this thread was started over a year

    hi reflection:
if you are not making money why pay $97 for a storefront?
You can work here for free
    http://free.cbmall.com.ar
all links are cloaked here and use your own clickbank id, you have a tool in the members area to check if the links are fine.

Big question is how to promote that tool. Any suggestion? no visitor = no sell.
