    Hi All,

We are currently updating the way the data feed for KegWorks partners is delivered and before we go ahead and set it up, I wanted to get some feedback from you all about which type of data feed you generally prefer e.g. CSV, HTTP or FTP , and if possible, what you think the pros and cons of an HTTP or FTP feed are.

Secondly do you care if the feed comes pre-coded with the LinkShare tracking code or whether you can do that locally anyway. Naturally making the feed pre-coded will require a registration and login of types to record that info.

    Your input is much appreciated.

    Cheers,

    Allen

FTP please. It is faster for me, and is easier to update at the server.

I don't care about the LS code being in there. However, there may be less headaches for you if you put it in there, as some folks sometimes forget to substitute their own code.

For me the ideal datafeed would be one that required no login and could be obtainable via wget. That way affiliates can automatically update their feeds regularly to ensure they're up to date. Locally inserting the affiliate code is no problem compared to the hassle of having to manually log in and navigate to get a datafeed.

My Linkshare ID is kinda funky with zero's and o's and I actually don't know if I am getting it right So I like to be able to get it with the code inserted if possible. I like having it available via ftp, CJ has a set up where I get the feed precoded.

On a side note, will the feed be available through the merchandiser? Are there advantages, disadvantages to using merchandiser? I am still in the application process, so am not sure what it looks like or how it all works.
