    Hello there.

I have encountered a slight obstacle whilst looking for ways to promote our Affiliate Program.

The problem being that under most categories our products falls under the "adult" category, and many places flatly reject publishing this kind of content.

On the other hand, we also try to preserve a more serious image for our brand, attempting to differentiate ourselves from the adult/porn industry. Hence, many over-the-top adult avenues do not seem suitable for promotion either.

We are about to relaunch the program, and while we already know that what we could offer would be attractive to prospective affiliates, we want to be sure that we are going to reach those affiliates!

Do you have any ideas or clues that might be of help? Thanks in advance for any light you may shed on this.

    Regards,

    Iván

Most of us cannot promote (even if we wanted to) Adult orientated merchants as it would jepardise our affiliations with mainstream merchants that generally won't touch you if you have adult links.

I have one website set up for "R" rated materials. Keep everything separate to avoid poisoning all my main stream websites. Won't even link to the site from my other sites. Send me a pm with a link and I'll be happy to briefly critique your product line(s).

BTW if you sell adult toys -- can't help you as I won't touch that product line (ditto with adult videos, dvds etc.)

If you have an R rated site that doesn't have toys or movies..... what does it have? LOL

Quite honestly I am looking for an adult toys merchant. I had one or two in mind but they never came up with a datafeed. If you can do this PM me and you have a seller for your goods.

I have two sites just waiting for the right merchant
One day parasites and their ilk will be made illegal, I bet a few Lawyers will be pissed off when the day comes.

I know I'm a little late in this thread, but I was looking for something else in this forum when I stumbled onto this thread.

Just a few days ago I came across another company that sells pretty much the same thing. I had never heard of it so I looked at it. The funny part is that they have the same product you have with the only difference being ONE letter in the name. Both sites are almost an exact replica of each other, from the navigation to the overall look.

Do you allow parasites in your program? The other one does. Or maybe both are somehow related?

I just wonder if there would ever be copywright infringement or whatever you call it when the names are almost identical. This is just too weird.
