Well I thought I was getting a deal with
this web host --

(it's been offline -- as well as
my 3 Websites -- since 5AM EST)

$36 for 1 year hosting lots of space and
file transfer, etc.

I've emailed them -- they Don't have
a phone number and no response yet.
So I can't wait around and see if this
will resolve. Money is draining away
as I write this.

Now I'm in the process of transferring
my domains.

I've read you should have each of your
domains on different hosts so that's what
I'm doing.

I'm going with, and

based on what you guys have posted here
in the forum -- Thanks for the info.

I just hope it doesn't take forever for
the setups.

Just my luck this happens around Google

As the saying goes -- It seems to good
to be true, it probably is!

Glad you pointed this out. We offer webhosting for $20, and I've been asked frequently why would somebody host with us when they can get it somewhere else for $5.00 a month...I think I even heard about somebody $5.00 a YEAR...You do get what you pay for, and if I crammed as many sites as I could on a server without regard to usage, I could probably come down to $5 a month...I would much rather limit space and usage in exchange for a higher price...things are much more reliable that way.

I have all of my sites hosted under my own reseller account. I used free webspace that came with my ISP Earthlink for over a year until I realized that I could not do what I wanted to do with just webspace. With a good host you get a lot of tools that can make your life a lot easier and more profitable.

$6 dollars a month is usaully the lowest you can get. But you get zilch in service. TH MEDIA is right, you get what you pay for.

On the same subject I just got a pamphlet in the snail mail from saying if I sign up now
quote:
I will get one month free hosting - a savings of up to $250

Domino...thanks for the plug...Interland has some larger packages...I think that is where the $250 a month comes in...Those things you get from interland appear to be them grabbing info from whois. Occasionally, I will get a notice from our post office about a large amount of mail to be picked up...I go in and it's hundreds of letters from Interland....I wonder how much they spend on sending that crap to another webhost...
