I read it but didn't really understand what the issues are. Could someone explain in plain English what it's about?

I didn't read everything over completely (I will later), but from what I can gather..Network Solutions (Verisign) wants to change the rules we play by when it comes to domain registrations (Actually, getting on a waiting list to register domains). I need to read it over to fully understand it.

Looks to me like anyone willing to pay snapnames enough money can soon thieve your domain name.

I hope I read that wrong.

I sick and tired of all this attempted banditry. Lets haul Snapnames in here and kick their, erm - ask them what they know about it.

Does Verisign own SnapNames? For some reason I thought someone else did.

Before I decide whether or not to sign, can someone please explain to me how this proposal differs from what the domain reservation services are already doing?

    Thanks.

No one can steal your domain name if you keep your payments up to date.

And online petitions have currently solved or influenced zero isssue. Complete waste of time.

And this provides a great explanation of why the WLS is bad for everybody except the BIG speculators and Verisign/Snapnames:

    That's interesting.
    But I hope that changes.....
So many requests & petitions, something should give....
I mean not in WLS, but anything at all.

I signed last week, one that demanded an inquiry by the PM of Bangladesh, regarding an attack on an Advocate of Human Rights. The gang (Lawyers) attacked him IN COURT & stole his documents & evidence.
