I thought this was discussed recently, but I can't find it. Just wondering what you use for web stats?
    Looking for recommendations.

(I have access to the raw httpd access/referrer logs)

    Thanks,
    JM

I use AWStats and like it very much. I use it in conjunction with a raw log viewer script.

It's good to see a positive comment about AWSTATS, as I am planning on using them soon, with the free version of WebTrends Live biting the dust...

    Hello,
well we install Webalizer (http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/download.html) on our customers' sites, plus Analog (http://www.analog.cx/) They give rough information of visitors to your site. You can always use commercial tracking services for more precise stats, if you need those.

I just bought the log analysis program at http://www.Wusage.com. They have a special going on now for only $25 per domain (one time fee, not per month)! It sounded too good to be true so I called them and actually spoke with a very knowledgable person. I loaded it up a week ago for 2 of my websites and am very happy with it. It is a very powerfull package and is not difficult to set up (even for a techno dummy like me).

You can try it out for 30 days for free, but after a couple of days I knew I liked it, so I bought it. Plus, there are no cheap graphics or anything else required on your website. For $25 it is the best deal I have seen in a long time.

I highly recommend that you try Wusage for your stats program.

Here's a free one. You need to run it with perl on windows or unix. Easy to install.
