    Hello,

Domain I'm interested in, expired on March 23. AFAIK, it can take from 1 day-6 weeks before domain will be available to buy.
Anyone can recommend some method to get it for sure? I mean, I can't check it everyday 100 times to see if it's available.

    Thanks

Depends a lot on how attractive the name is to other people. If you are the only person going for it try Namewinner (details below), if you think other people will be going for it and it is worth at least $100 to you go for both the options below.

www.namewinner.com: Auction system, bid the amount you are willing to pay for the domain (bids start at $8.95), and you only pay if they are successful in grabbing the domain for you. Really good names can get bids as high as $5000, but good names sometimes go for a lot less (someone I know got WWF.com for $8.95 a while back).

www.snapnames.com: Pay $69 in advance, they try to grab the domain when it becomes available, if they are unsuccessful you don't get the $69 back but can transfer it to another domain to try to grab.

At the moment Snapnames seems better at getting .org names and Namewinner is more successful at .com/net.

Another service similar to Namewinner is Dropwizard.com.

    Thanks Mark,

I just check it at whois.sc and noticed something strange:
    At the top:
    Created: 22-mar-1995
    Expires: 23-mar-2004
    -----
    Bellow:
Created on: Wed, Mar 22, 1995
Expires on: Sun, Mar 23, 2003

Looks like someone get it today (so it's still not refreshed) or something?

If the create date is unchanged then it didn't drop (deletion and re-registration resets the creation date).

To get the try expiration date for .com or .net go to the registry, their WHOIS will also tell you the status:

The registry WHOIS also tells you the status of the domain so you call tell if it is about to be deleted:
