We have registered our domain names with GoDaddy until now and then used MyDomain.com's free DNS management service. On their forum people are now complaining about gator pop-unders being added to their sites.

Could anybody please recommend a low cost and reliable DNS management service? I have searched Google, but most of them are horrendously expensive - $40 a year per domain. Considering we have around 10 domains, it is going to be extremely expensive

If there is no reasonably-priced DNS management-only service, we might be willing to consider transferring our domain names away from GoDaddy. Is there any cheap domain name registar who provides a comprehensive DNS service?

I have tried registering a domain name with NameCheap.com ($8.88/annum) and their service includes DNS management. Appears to be a professional company. Are they reliable? Anybody better than them for a similar price? RegisterFly also offer free DNS management if domain names registered with them. Are they any good? Suffered any downtime (like MyDomain.com did several times last year)?

    Many thanks

Have you looked at GoDaddy's Total DNS Control? Comes free with every domain. Using it with several domains now and it seems to be working fine.

You have to set name servers to "Default Parked Nameservers". Then you'll see a tab for it where you can manage your zone file.

why are you using a separate DNS management service?

Godaddy, NameCheap, registerfly, Enom all offer some sort of DNS management service for FREE as part of their registation service.

I have used all of the above named services with no problems...

I current have all of my domain names with enom because I have a resellers account...

And, that's the bottom line because it's my2cents!

"why are you using a separate DNS management service?"

Thing with Godaddy is their DNS management service doesn't support meta-tags for subdomains. I have generated a lot of money via listing of subdomains in Google by using mydomain.com's free redirection service with meta-tags. If subdomain just forwards to another site without meta-tags Google doesn't list 'em...

Which ones of the others have subdomain forward WITH individual meta-tags for each subdomain.

    Cheers
