We all know that scumware is a big problem, and I hope that CJ and others are doing something about it.

One answer is for users to run the anti-spyware programs every now and again. However, I have just run some on my PC, only to find that it also deletes all the affiliate network tracking cookies as well - not a good thing.

Are CJ working with the makers of these programs to ensure that our tracking cookies aren't the victim of collateral damage?

More like CJ is working with the makers of these programs to increase the damage they do to you. See the CJ/WhenU thread and see the official response.
