    Newbie questions:

If you are accepted to CJ using your one site's URL in your application, can you use the links and codes for your CJ affiliates on new sites you develop over time or does each new site need to be approved?

If you want to set up subaffiliates under yourself, are you given or can you use a special link that goes to the affiliate sign up page? If so, and someone instead of signing up as a subaffiliate purchases a product on that visit, do you still get credit?

Can you direct visitors to any part of your affiliates site or are you generally required to link to the home page?

Generally, do subaffiliates stay under your account for a set time like 1 year or lifetime or what is usual?

    Thanks

If you are accepted by CJ, you can add other URL's to your account. However, if you add them, make sure they are developed as you might not get approved by merchants if they see undeveloped domains.

You will receive a unique affiliate ID number for each URL you add. This is good as it lets you know which domain is making the money.

You can direct visitors to any part of your domain AND to any page of the merchant's domain (using special linking at CJ).

The only subaffiliates you can set up underself are your own domains and you can set them up for as long as you want.

Note: This is just my take on it...anyone else please add to this.

It should be said that you can put links up for new sites if you are approved for your old site

You can not be credited for sales or leads if they are comming from a website which is not entered in the account tab of cj.com member site. You have to login, goto the account tab, click on website settings and then enter the new site there. You are then approved automatically.

you are saying i cannot get credited for sales from any website not added to my profile???
i have over 30 websites, which are not all added to my profile as i thought cj was quite cool with it. i also put the different codes on different website, for example, i copy a special discount onto seperate domains without changing the pid, as its a lot quicker!!

am i wrong here??? is this where all my commissions have gone??

I asked that cj.com more than a year ago. You can be credited but it is not a must. If the merchant says no it is no. You have to enter all your websites you are displaying cj.com links on for beeing on the good side. I have more than 200 websites and inserted them all.

Todd needs to speak on this thread. Because I have never put my other sites on CJ and it shows sales for those sites just fine

think this is basically true AND if merchant is not set up correctly they will not track either
