Whats your favorite Beer or beer like beverage?

Its oh soo hard to pick, but, I guess if I had to pick one favorite, it'd be Newcastle Brown Ale.

    Other favs:
    Abita Amber
    Abita Turbo Dog
    Guiness Stout
Guiness and Bass/Harp (Black & Tan/Half and Half)
    Black Butte Porter
    Mac n Jacks African
    Red Hook (most of em)
    Abita Wheat
    Almost any good Hefeweizen

Bud Light on occasion (I know.. ) (!)
    Anything at $3 a pitcher...

    Oh hell, almost anything...

Yeah, I'd also probably go for Newcastle Brown.
Also Spitfire, London Pride, Guiness Extra Cold, Stella, oh alright, anything!

I would agree with you Connie; however, since Miller bought them, the Leinnys don't seem to be the same.

Over the years, the United States has sent many of its fine young men and women into great peril to fight for freedom beyond our borders. The only amount of land we have ever asked for in return is enough to bury those that did not return.

Not necessarily in order (depending on the time of day):

    St. Paulie Girl
    Molson Ice
Lowenbrau (but that's been a long time gone since Miller bought em way way back when)

Ahh, didn't know that. Guess that explains why both Leinies and Miller are co-beer sponsors for Country and Rock-Fest 2 years in a row now. I thought it weird that 2 competitors would be co-sponsors!

I just am happy to be a sponsor too and spend lots of time on the sponsor deck getting lots of free Leinie!

I just get a kick out of driving down a country road in Wisconsin and there on a corner in the boonies is a Leinie Lodge. And they are always hopping!

Call me a wimp, but in my opinion, nothing beats an ice cold Corona, with a lime.

My husband is a beer fanatic. I personally never drink the swill...er...stuff, but he just loves it. I usually take a sniff when he gets something new. I can smell the difference between ales, pilsners, stouts, IPAs, fruity beers, hoppy beers..you name it.

He really likes local stuff (though NOT Yuengling - too much of it in college) but his favorite brewery right now is Unibroue, from Quebec. They have all kinds of brews, and I really can't remember what he likes the best, but I always know that if it's Unibroue, he'll love it.

    Also, more local stuff:
    - Yards (from Philadelphia)
    - Victory (from West Chester) especially HopDevil
    - Nodding head (recently tasted at Philly's annual Split Thy Skull mini brewfest)
    - Stoudt's (which, by the way, throws a kicka$$ Oktoberfest in Lancaster County, PA - Amishland)

Haiko - Bud Ice??? You need to try more beers!

JM - Good call on Abita and Turbo Dog. In fact, I like Turbo Dog for its name alone, though it is a really good beer.

Some of my favs in no particular order
    Shiner Bock
Lucifer (Belgian ale that is suprisingly smooth given its name).
    Corona
Dos Equis in the GREEN bottle
    Modolo
    Most belgian ales
    Fosters
    Polygamy Porter

In a pinch it's always "give me a BUD". Now I do like Budweiser Ice and the new Michelob ULTRA. When thirsty ...just make it a cold one as all suffer the pee syndrome if warm.

I have to say any of the Abita Beers also. Which one depends on my mood. Their brewery is just a quick 10 miles or so up the road from me. Life is good sometimes. If you like the name Tubro Dog, then be sure to give their Purple Haze a try.

Abita also makes a dang good root beer that gives Barq's a run for their money, and I really like Barq's.

Yep, yep, yep...life is good sometimes.
