    Hi All

My second to last poll for the day and again related to the other two.

You have a merchant partner who falls into your, 'middle income" bracket, not a big earner, but constant and with an okay conversion.

How would you prefer to hear from the AM of such a program if they wanted to contact you to discuss general matters about their program?

Assumption is that there is nothing, unique about the contact that they couldn't use to contacy any other partner (i.e. no private data is being discussed).

    Thank you for your participation

    Cheers

    Chris

How about if they were in IRAQ? LOL!!!

    Chris--Emails are good.

I REALLY hate it when a merchant calls before sending an email. As I'm out of the US but all my sites are US (and so is my registered company), time zones are different, so I've gotten calls after midnight. Or, they call my US contact number, and bother my brother who has no idea all the specifics of the sites (he acts as treasurer for me to make sure everything gets deposited, but that's it).

So, merchants, PLEASE use email first. Phone me after we have discussed things a bit by phone and I have extended an invitation to call, but not before.

    Just my 2 cents -

Email, pm's on boards don't get archived in my mail box, I am not on IM all the time and again, if you are telling me something I may need to reference in the future, email is the only way to archive.

Phone is ok AFTER email communication, if a long communication is necessary. As noted by someone in another forum, I am writing this at 4:50 am EST and I won't be awake at 9 am, maybe not until late afternoon, and then I have errands to run. So phone is a catch as catch can situation, or a wake me up and talk to me groggy situation.

Well I guess I'm in the minority here as I feel that a phone call is more personable than getting an email

Are you trying to (poke) me.

Sorry, not really trying to poke, but when I see things like "any place" I just can't help but come up with exceptions.

Phone calls are great for urgent issues and may sometimes be helpful for larger projects, but for day-to-day things nothing beats email.
