All of the above... including content sites.

A little bit of everything seems to take up the slack where another leaves off.

Also all of the above. 1 and 3 are/can be the same thing.

Datafeed created sites are performing the best for me right now.

#1 and #3. Also some sites where I just describe products or merchants, without "product links" per se. And a few c*ntent sites.

    OK - here's a serious question.
I've finally hit upon an idea which I think has potential.
I have quite a few sites by now, and if any of my domains were to get banned by Google I wouldn't really care....
    except for one.
It has a look and feel which is potentially brandable and could become something more than just another affiliate site.
I am implementing it as a domain, with sub-domains for each merchant.
    I.e. there is
    jewelry.mydomain.com
    candles.mydomain.com
    etc etc.
Are there any long-term disadvantages to this approach?

    Thanks

Naw, there's still about 40 Revenue sites keeping it rightside up! And the revenue, still comes from the revenue sites!

Although I could buy a few Big Macs from the c*ntent, it seems like it'd take millions of page views to make any serious money off it. Which is a bit frustrating because it seems easy as dirt to get good SE ranks with it. But even that doesn't bring in enough PVs to make it worth it to do much w*rk on it, so when I want to write myself a raise it still means making more Revenue sites and clawing their pages past all the competition into the visible part of the serps.
