Due to mutual differences in regards to the future direction of X10 Wireless Technology's affiliate program, I am no longer the program manager. I have parted from X10, and regret that I will no longer be working with you.

I have enjoyed greatly the experience, and I am hopeful to continue to work in the affiliate arena as a program manager. The success I have enjoyed since June 2003 could not have been reached without you.

Thank you all for your co-operation, and willingness to work with me. I look forward to an even greater year in 2004!

    Regards,
    Jon Snow

I apologize for the confusion, but I did not want to post under this login since it was granted rights I would not have been given if I was not a program manager. I do absolutely confirm the first post to be correct.

    Thank you all again!

This is not a joke. I have just learned that X10 has closed their program, and commission junction at the behest of X10 Wireless Tecnology, Inc. has removed my publisher account.

What the heck? Sounds like an ugly break up, to be sure.

Due to current legalities that I am investigating, I can not say more at this time. I apologize, but I do not want to ruin any relationships I have made in the affiliate community over this matter.

What companies are you going to be working with now?
Continue working in the affiliate market?

Maybe you'll be the next Andy Rodriquez, Akiva and Linda(5star) setting up shop here

That is looking like a very likely possibility. I am not sure that any company will touch me after the moral decisions I have had to make here.

Just one final note, Christina my assistant was terminated from X10, the reasons behind it were the same as why I could no longer continue managing the affiliate program.

    Oh ... look a bird!

    WTF is going on here?

CJ removed X-10's publisher account, Christina was fired and Jon left?

    What the hey?!?!?!

I wish I could say more. Everything it outside of my control now. If it is meant to come out you will be reading the story very soon from a very reputable source. I ask you all to understand my position in all of this.

Does MyMailValues have anything to do with the change of AMs ??

It seem that someone from most of MY domains has opted in

How do they know that we would be interested in:

How about Performics? They also operate an X10 affiliate program there? Is that still operational?

I've always avoided X10.com just because of their sleazy popups.

That would most likely be from the Direct Marketing department, and someone thinks you have opted in to their list which a media buyer bought a email drop to.

I wouldn't be able to tell you about Performics, I do not currently have a Performics publisher account, and I doubt Highly anyone there would discuss with me anything regarding X10 since I no longer work there.

I'm sorry to hear about the job losses, and the termination of the program, which will likely create problems for publishers replacing the links.

But if anything good comes out of this, it will be that I NEVER have to see another X-10 pop-up again! I'm so sick of those, if I wanted something like the X-10, I'd buy anything but the X-10, just to express my annoyance at their ads.

Best of luck to you and Christina in the future.

    Andy

Those popups are needed for testing a new middle east version of the x-10, I hear it will have a 50 caliber concealed inside of it. Targeted customers will be police stations and bus lines, if it's successful, someone could make a killing with this product!!!
