    Hi all,
I m thinking to use Adwords to do some branding for us, in order to get people and potential affiliates to know our name.
I have in my mind 2 options, and I would really like to have your opinion on that.
Option 1 : I advertise my product, and my brand, this will drive consumers to my landing page.
Option 2 : I advertise my affiliate program, this will drive webmasters to my affiliate info page.

In a perfect world, I would do both. But if I had to choose one, which one should it be ?
Knowing that the aim is to create Brand recognition and attract more powerfull affiliates to create a strong network.

Before you spend the money to advertise your program why not ask the members
here what they think of your program. You may have to sweeten it in order to
get affiliate marketers attention. Lifetime accounts has a nice ring to it.

The adwords approach imo will show a poor ROI.

    Run ads at ABW !!!

Joining a respected network and running ads there might be more productive as well.

Definetely Option 1. Build your brand and your product(s). If you do that, and what you offer is good, the affiliates will come to you. But building up brand and reputation should always be a company's first priority.

    Hi Mike,
I can post here and ask members to go to my landing page and review my offer ?
Can I do the same with my affiliate info page ?

Will the members tell me what they think on our product and how interesting they find our affiliate offer ?

    Hi,
As I see Option 1 ( prpmoting my product ) is the one that you recommend me.
I would love to have more opinions on that matters before making any decision.

I know what you're going through. I've had to fight with myself to be disciplined in developing my web site brand and its subject matter. My natural tendency is to chase down more and more affiliate programs. There are just so many out there and so much money changing hands on the Internet that it seems too easy to just stick your finger in a bunch of different streams. You have to remember though that (a) the water is cold and (b) you only have ten fingers (if you're lucky)!

    Hi searchagent,
if I understand well, you would recommend branding prior to affiliate program promotion.

Here is what I do think now :
The first thing is to promote our brand and show how professional we are Here at Medexpress.
When this is done, good affiliates will trust us and our service, and think that this could be interesting for their customers ad of course generate some good revenue for them.

As we are already a 2 years old comany and we had somme commercial on TV last Year, We know that we will succeed.
