Hey everyone! I just wanted to let you all know that BobWards.com has finally updated our datafeeds.
    Some improvements we made are:
Easier to read with better column headings
    More complete information
A new field that will contain longer product descriptions, these will be updated as we add the new spring and summer items
A choice between a comma or a pipe deliminated feed

All these suggestions came from you as affiliates, and I appreciate the feedback. Hopefully this will satisfy your needs!

Just to let you know too, in the next week we are going to start putting up our spring/summer items. The weather (in some parts!) has started to warm up and people are starting to think spring, this would be a great time to start promoting these items.
On that note, winter is starting to slip away and we have almost our entire stock of winter items on sale for all those people who still want to purchase a winter coat, skis or a snowboard for an excellent price.
Check out the sales and let's get the word out and make some money off these great deals!

Thanks again for all your hard work. It is much appreciated!

I've got a question for everyone that is using our datafeeds.
When we are pulling product descriptions that contain commas for the datafeed that is comma deliminated, it of course is taking the commas from the product description and creating new fields. Thus throwing everything off.

My question is, does anyone prefer a comma deliminated datafeed over a pipe deliminated one? If not we might try to do away with the feed that contains commas.

All feedback and suggestions would be much appreciated.

    >deliminated datafeed over a pipe deliminated one?

Actually, Tab Delimited is best as Tab is a non-printing character.

You have already found the problem of using commas in the text, if a pipe happens to get into the text as well you have the same problem.

As long as you create pure-text fields then Tabs should not sneek in, possible, but far less likely and easier to fix if it does.

    To each there own woz
    I have found the opposite.
I have had countless feeds with tabs placed in (usually in descriptions or keyword fields) that have mucked everything up.

    Same for me.

I've had feeds come in with tabs in the descriptive text, but never pipes.

    Pipe-delimited definitely gets my vote!
