I am surprised to see that more and more sales from non-converting merchants are now showing up. Did CJ fix the tracking in this long update?

If everyone observes this, it is time for some questions and answers.

    Yep, same thing here...
The usual "non-converters" started showing some activity right after CJ reporting came back on the other day .

UNFORTUNATELY for some reason my account seems to be highly sensitive to tracking/reporting issues , and the pattern repeats itself again - When the non- converters show activity on one site , it's the KISS OF DEATH for me , and days can pass with no activity from another site !

    What a coincidence AGAIN

Funny how I had a few usual transactions on the 21st , right before the latest "upgrade" and NOTHING but a few "kiss of death" non-converers have shown up in the reports since AFTER reporting went back up .

I don't know about everybody else, and Hip, Hip , Hooray! for those of you that have your record breaking sales days during downtime , but I get totally
    F**ked every single time !

Very funny... we also saw some nice sales from very low converters, reported after the downtime, but done during it... now CJ is up again, it stopped however:-(

The 'off' switch must be broken. I have 1 guy who only pays up after I remove his ads and complain. Then when sales start coming through again, I put his ads back up until they dry up again.

CJ tracking updated. Sales stopped. I think I'll take a hike.

Sales was better during the downtime.

My sales are crap after early yesterday morning. Other networks are okay except Performics which is completely dead for me this month. Surprisingly, it was okay during CJ upgrade. It just dried after it came back. Not even from my usual merchants.

Regarding Performics, I do have some sales and actions this month. More than usual, in fact. Doesn't take much to be more than usual, though.

Here as well. I had several merchants in which not a single sale had ever been reported, and suddenly had sales for them.

Now they are dead once again. Coincidence?

What I once thought was very poor reporting, is now thought to be intentional fraud. Sales that were intentionally siphoned to other PIDs were mistakenly temporarily credited to the rightful affiliates.

We got a glimpse behind the veil, and I for one am not afraid to tell.

Yeap, same here, happens every time merchants in the backstreets of sites suddenly come good!

KCedit, re: Performics my sales have taken a downturn too from the time of Spiegel doing their update. All product links were stuffed but even after fixing them..things just aren't the same...indies and others are cooking, so who knows....!

"now thought to be intentional fraud"

Fraud is such an ugly word. True . . . but ugly.

January sales almost doubled Decembers, but Google traffic went up amost the same amount.

Better ratio of domestic vs. international traffic too.

But still, the change in conversion ratios is strange!
