2nd highest day for traffic with no CJ sales. This is really wrong. What proof is there that the tracking is actually functioning properly? CJ has proven reporting is an inconsistant part of their activities.
    Thanks,

I guess we're just supposed to take their word for it.

    You know the routine:

    1. Tracking and reporting are on separate servers.

    2. We don't get paid if you don't get paid.

    3. Overall network sales are up this month.

Of course, we now know that:

    1. Even though tracking and reporting are on separate servers, sometimes they DO get hosed up and transactions are lost.

    2. CJ does get paid, even if we don't in the form of annual and monthly fees.

    3. Ebates and MyPoints are breaking new records!

All of which, of course, does nothing for honest affiliates who don't steal from others.

This morning I'm getting some of my sales from yesterday.
Last update, CJ took away product reporting and this update they are trying to let us think we don't need real time reporting anymore.
It seems they care only to provide the best support they can to parasites.
I should not complain, I know I'm in the 2% of the top affiliates, eBates, MyPoints and others must be in the top 1%. It shows CJ don't care for 99% of their customers. How long are they going to last with such a business model?

    Doug,

What do you consider high traffic, clicks?

As Bill Clinton taught us - it depends on how you define the word "is".

Tracking has been affected. Denying it has not been affected.

They only sales I've gotten from CJ since January are from proven parasite free CJ merchnats. The others have resersed out their few sales as if my shoppers should have been in some "incent/rewards" program.

Is there any inspection to the transportation vehicle between tracking server and main server?

What we need is 4th party tracking to keep the 'trusted 3rd party" trustworthy.

And by the end of the century we will have trusted 50th party tracking to keep the 'trusted 49th party" tracking trustworthy.

I suggest you all go look up a keyword set -
"Tragedy of the Commons" a brillant article written about 30 years ago by a guy named Garret Hardin.

Read it and then ask yourself how AM or CPA is similar to the tragedy of the commons.

Then you will understand why the whole CPA thing is a house of cards.

I had my fine tune techies pull 2 networks clickstream vehicles into the shop. Open the hood and found 2 gerbils and a hampster treadmilling their butts off, while the finely tuned datamining operating system looked like a NASA space orbiter project.

Sales cookies getting threw that mess of clickstream filters has as much chance of being un-incumbered as the ME peace process.
