I was looking at this new program. I noticed that under occurances it says "Action Referral Occurrences 1 time(s)"

All of the others that I see say unlimited. What does that mean?

The way I understand it is:
If a customer comes back to your site, say 10 times (and makes 10 purchases) during the cookie duration you will only get commission on the first sale you made and not any of the others.

Unlimited means you would have got commission from all 10 sales during the cookie duration. Obviously unlimited could also mean 10,000 sales per cookie !!!

That's the way I see it...feel free to correct me roomies please.

answer: "It takes an average of 500 visitors to get one sale, so you have 45 days to reach your quota."

by now all the merchants should know if they are offering just a 1-day, since enough of us have complained. some of the merchants kindly changed the setting, not knowing it was the default after a change in CJ.

some of the merchants do this because they want to pay for new customers only for a period of time.

of course you can send a complaint to the merchant saying you want a better deal or you won't sign up and maybe they'll catch on.

    or maybe not.
