I'm just wondering how many publishers are members of both CJ and shareasale? I understand there is probably no absolute number anyone has, just would be interested in estimates? 5%, 10%, 25%, 50%+?

    Be well.

Shareasale is actually a well kept secret that I just found at ABW so I would think the percentage is much lower, plus SAS doesn't allow parasites so according to estimates that cuts 10% right off the top.

I join merchants, not networks. The network just happens to be where the merchant is.

I think there is very little overlap between the two networks. In my opinion, Sharesale is the smaller merchant's CJ, but a lot better and completely ethical. CJ has become somewhat bloated and unethical and waaaaay overpriced for the smaller merchant.

As loxly, mentioned Shareasale is a best kept secret. They provide excellent service on both the affiliate and merchant side. From a merchant's standpoint, you can't beat the cost for the service, features, and functionality.

I answered 99% before I gave it much thought.

Actually, I think probably close to 99% of the Shareasale affiliates are also CJ affiliates, but only a small percent of CJ affiliates are also SaS affiliates.

    But what do I know?

Hmmmm, Sounds like if shareasale is a well kept secret they should be doing some things to make them selves less of a secret. Great to hear such good things about them.

ATKOgirl, Stamford is by Kent CT, right? I used to manage all the online advertising and marekting for Cyberian Outpost (outpost.com) prior to their going public and flamming out. Helped them grow from 50K a month in sales to 7+million...now, those were the days ;-)

I make *way* more with indies than with any network. Trying to utilize the networks to change that, but don't see it happening.
