I am considering a site/server monitoring service. Any suggestions from you folks who has the best deal on this service?
    Thanks for any feedback.

We use http://www.internetseer.com for our site monitoring. Not sure if they have the best deal, but they have alerted me once or twice of outages.

Make sure to set a back-up notification method that will be available if your site is down.

FWIW, I received this notification from internetseer today...
    quote:
    Recovery Alert

Your Web Site is no longer on error

    URL: http://www.mydom.com
    Time: Mon May 10 08:23:23 EDT 2004
Total Time on Error: 3 days, 13 hours, 1 minute, 24 seconds
However I was in the site last night and have been for the last 3 days, so I'm not really sure what they are monitoring!

Admittedly I have the free service right now, but why would I want to PAY for something that can only work the same way in my opinion.
