From 1% to 1.5%, i pulled them awhile ago, low commissions and too many reversals for my liking.

I wonder if they had a meeting or something. They must thought they were brilliant and that raising the commish from 1% to 1.5% was some great thing.

"If this new program is a success, we will maintain your new rate"

Hopefully the new program is a success to they can keep the stellar new rate

I don't care what they do, they suck. So now instead of reversing your 1% commission, they'll reverse a 1.5% commission.

    1.5% ?!?!?!

Are they kidding? Do they really think it's worthwhile for us to even bother using them for filler for that amount?

Cheapskates! Promote their competition, they can keep their lousy 1.5%.

I've ragged them for years as the least likey success story at CJ. Heck...they give all the parasites double that as a spiff.

Now, an upbeat Affiliate Manager would have written something like this:

Congratulations! We have decided to increase your commissions by 50%, in recognition of your hard work. Thank you!
Following everyone else is a GREAT way to become average.

    Wooo! THREE percent for them!

Somehow that doesn't motivate me to start coding a BHO!

In all fairness there has to be more to this story than first meets the eye, lets see, what could it be? Oh! I know whats missing, the average sale amount, that must be it.

Getting all mathmatical now before we judge too soon, let us investigate! If the average sale price is say, $10,000 then even before the raise that would net us $100, with only one sale per day (on average of course) thats a cool 3 grand a month, all for doing nothing but putting a link on your site to theirs. And don't forget, now you can make 4.5 grand monthly (on average of course) with the big raise!

I can see I'm going to have to change my minimum standard of at least 10% comm, 30 day cookie and unlimited occurences down to 1% comm immediately. No wonder Bill Gates hasn't even heard of me yet!

Of course, if they can't average a daily sale of $10,000 (with no reversals of course) then off with their hide.
And the minimum value of my time and effort remains intact with the 10/30/UO rule.

If you make good money with a merchant that pays you 5%, you could be making twice that with one that pays 10% Why mess with cheapskates when you can do better???
