I'm an affiliate looking for a good music download-related affiliate program, from any network (or indie). Any ideas?

I'm talking about online music *listener* traffic, not musicians or anything specific like that. I'm looking for something that would convert and pay well for traffic looking for music downloads and things of that nature.

Right now, I'm looking at the emusic (BeFree) and MusicMatch (CJ) programs to start.
Anyone have any other ideas? Or any experience with the ones mentioned?

    Thanks much

IMO you'd be better off sending your traffic to eBay and earning nickels than sending it to Napster. Napster's got a 3 month EPC of just $0.83. It's a shame iTunes doesn't have an affiliate program.

I just thought I put in a merchant's point of view on EPC in this case. This statement has nothing to do with Napster becase I know nothing about that program.

EPC is in many ways, not that accurate. My data feed sites have anywhere from a 1 to 7% click to buy rate. People are making money off me.

But in the past two weeks, I have a spammer, though CJ send me 7000 clicks and one sale. This affiliate has 3 warmings against them in CJ. I also had an affilaite send me 5000 clicks and not one sale because she was testing my data feed links (which I was happy to have her do).

We'll it knocked my EPC down from over $5 to $2.12 today.

My 3 month EPC is low people an affiliate forced clicks on me for months before I started and the other manager before me did not care.

You take all these extra clicks out of the math and my 3 month EPC is high (over $10)

EPC is not everything, but one piece of the puzzle.

    Cheers,

    Beth

I agree with Beth .. it's merely 1 piece of the puzzle. EPC should not hold much value without the other pieces of the puzzle in place.

    "joined with"

    Funny way to put it.

BuyMusic was started by Buy.com and flopped, so it is being rolled back in... buymusic.com is a redirect...

In a few months, they won't even use the buymusic name...
