Anyone know why LensQuest is reversing all the April transactions? All 4 of mine were reversed today.

    Reason was 'other' of course....

    Same company, same problem!

All of our VisionDirect April sales are being reversed...about 20 of them so far, and we're only 1/2 way through the month.

What's going on with VisionDirect. Today I've reversed transactions for them showing up at 12:54 PDT and I've the same transactions locked at 13:52 PDT. Who's playing with our nerves?

I don't use any of them but suggest you send an alert to CJ AAQ so they can check on this. Something smells real fishy here.

Vision Direct reversed quite a few from April 1st through the end of that month.

It's either a April Fool's joke (HA HA), or else they've decided like their competition (contacts.com), that dishonesty is the best policy.

Until reading this I hadn't noticed but I took a look and indeed they were reversed then added back again and locked so I guess it's a wash.

Reagarding legit reversals, I can recall a time when I never got a vision direct reversal. Reversals with cause "other" have started to approach maybe 30% of my monthly orders. This reversal action started taking place even before the drugstore.com buyout but it was just strange to go from virually 0 reversals to 30%. Maybe they became more restrictive with regards to proper prescriptions.

They aren't showing in the reports anymore for "reversals do to Non Payment" Maybe they paid up or it was an error on CJ's part

    (contacts.com), meaning 1800contacts?

VisionDirect is the company who uses WhenU and pop-ups on competitors' sites, not 1800Contacts. I'll interested to know Kelly's definition of "dishonesty"?

It sounds like VisionDirect is having financial problems now that they have been barred from stealing customers from 1800-Contacts with WhenU!

This goes back to over a year ago when the AM of 1800Contacts offered him help because of his conversion problems and he took it personally and ever since bad mouths 1800Contacts whenever possible.

Besides what KCEdit posted they also had registered www1800Contacts.com, typosquatting and for numbers.

    1800Contacts
    7 day - $38.74
    3 month - $34.58

    VisionDirect.com
    7 day - $25.33
    3 month - $22.90

They're also parasite free, take parasites to court and have a great AM.

Well, I think a paint a pretty good picture of what I think dishonesty is ...many of you having read my posts for years now.

I would say that VisionDirect is a lesser evil, relative to contacts.com. I don't want anyone to get the impression that I somehow love VisionDirect, or that they even pay my maintenance fees on my condo in Maui.

How about actually explaining how you think 1800Contacts is dishonest instead of side stepping the question? You haven't made 1 point as how they are. You post a merchant is dishonest is some way, you should be able to back it up.

The reason "other" is used alot because Commission Junction intentionally limits the reasons a merchant can give for a reversal. This puts any suspicions soley on the merchant.

A merchant can't select "Because Commission Junction screwed up", or that "A parasite in affiliation with Commission Junction gets credit for the sale rather than you".

If a lot of reversals, sometime it’s worth to see the extended transactions due to non-payment page

That's because you haven't been posting for "years!" You registered in 2002 but started actively posting more recently than that.

Oh, so VisionDirect/Lensquest is a DEADBEAT! Deadbeats are the scummiest of all the scum--0% commission on all sales! Figures...

Well, everything appears to be OK now... LensQuest and VisionDirect both have a good track record with me. Reversals are rare with both of them. I am sure there was an odd explanation for what happened this week but the real point of the matter is that they cleaned up after themselves within hours. Thats A-OK in my book.

I always thought Kelly was a plant from Performics, because so many posts trash CJ and promote Performics for the wonderful network that they're NOT!
