I just checked my befree stats and Gamestop stood out.

My stats for gamestop in May

    gamestop.com 161,169 3,532 0 $0.00 0 $0.00 0 0 0 $0.00

That is 3,535 clicks with no sales.

    For the quarter to date.
    04/01/2004- 06/15/2004 gamestop.com 340,977 7,264 0 $0.00 0 $0.00 0 0 0 $0.00

I think 7,264 with 0 sales is really wierd. Anyone knows of any other good video game merchant that can actually convert?

video games is a bad market. Amazon is probably your best bet. Kids do not have money, and unfortunately, the majority of video game users are kids.

We've finally started to realize some video game sales, though I don't think we'll ever see a ton. Targeting & context have really helped.

Imagine how much you could have earned from those 7,264 visitors if you had created pages of content with Google Adsense on the page, but no affiliate links.

Let the kids visit your site, and then send them on via Adsense

We've never made $$$ with Gamestop.

My theory - and it's just a theory - is

People like to GO to the stores SEE what used games are available - sort of like going to a garage sale

My only "proof" is that every time my 10-year-old has $5, he says "can we go to gamestop"?

I say - "hey go to my website"

He says, "nah. i'd rather go to the store"

I've made exactly $1.00 since January 2004 with gamestop. 4401 clicks

If you are using their datafeed, most products are out of stock or go out of stock quickly. Also from what I've seen is most of the clicks are coming from searches of people looking for game hints & cheats. I would imagine most of them are kids also.

I've had them for 2 years and made 1 sale which netted me about $4. Their datafeed isn't available to me altho numerous of my other bfree partners are, I think I'll drop them next time I clean *house*

Haven't sent them that many clicks this year but:

150 clicks 19 items ordered (don't know how many sales) and $42 in commissions. So a $28 EPC. Not seeing any problems with that.

I don't do feed, traffic is sent to the home page and i post the coupons they have available when you go to get links.
